HOA Board Meetings - 4th Tuesday @ 6PM via Zoom
WHO WE ARE
Stetson Hills Common Good is a volunteer, neighbor-led group formed by Stetson Hills homeowners who care deeply about this community.
SHCG was created because many homeowners wanted better communication, more transparency, open meetings, fairer processes, reasonable standards, and a stronger homeowner voice in how the HOA operates.
Stetson Hills is a 904-home community in North Phoenix. HOA decisions affect all of us — our homes, our property values, our assessments, our neighborhood appearance, and our quality of life. SHCG was formed to help homeowners better understand those decisions, ask reasonable questions, and work together for positive change.
SHCG is not the HOA and is not an official HOA communication channel. We are homeowners helping other homeowners stay informed, connected, and involved.
SHCG came together after many neighbors raised concerns about HOA governance, meeting transparency, records access, enforcement practices, Architectural Review Committee decisions, communication, and whether homeowners were being given a fair and meaningful opportunity to participate.
Many homeowners felt isolated or unsure where to turn. Others had questions but did not know how to get answers. SHCG helped bring those concerns into the open in a factual, organized, and constructive way.
Our goal was simple: help homeowners see what was happening, understand why it mattered, and participate in lawful, respectful, homeowner-led change.
SHCG helped raise awareness across the community by sharing information, organizing records, explaining HOA issues in plain language, and encouraging homeowners to attend meetings, ask questions, submit feedback, and get involved.
We helped connect neighbors who had similar concerns so they no longer felt alone. We also encouraged a more fact-based conversation about HOA governance, ARC practices, enforcement, spending, communication, and homeowner rights.
Most importantly, SHCG helped remind the community that the HOA belongs to the homeowners.
The May 2026 HOA election showed that Stetson Hills homeowners care deeply about this community and are willing to participate. Strong homeowner engagement helped move Stetson Hills toward a more open, transparent, accountable, and homeowner-focused HOA.
SHCG supports:
Open and lawful meetings
Fair and consistent enforcement
Reasonable, modern, and workable standards
Respect for homeowner rights
Transparency in HOA spending and decision-making
More homeowner participation
Common-sense solutions that strengthen the community
Our purpose has never been to divide Stetson Hills. It has been to help homeowners work together for a better, more responsive, and more neighbor-focused HOA.
With positive change now underway, SHCG is moving into a new phase.
Rather than focusing primarily on election-related change efforts, SHCG will remain active for now as a neighbor-led information and engagement resource. Our focus is shifting toward helping homeowners stay informed, understand changes as they happen, and find ways to assist the HOS in getting homeowners involved through surveys, committees, meetings, volunteer opportunities, and community conversations.
We will continue updating this website in the coming weeks and months.
This is still the homeowners’ HOA. Even small efforts like attending a meeting, responding to a survey, joining a committee, volunteering, or simply sharing accurate information with neighbors can make a real difference.
Stetson Hills is moving forward, and together we can keep building a community we are proud to call home.
